purpose: To write about music. (To join a bandwagon.)

purview: Music both new and old, in whichever genres I like. I have neither time nor interest to scour the proverbial ingredients labels of music I love, looking for high fructose publicist syrup. Nor do I have time or interest to write about the latest and hottest solely for being latest and hot.

posting schedule: Existent. In the past I’ve succumbed not to scope creep so much as large colony drop of scope. We’ll see about this.

me: Katherine St. Asaph, music writer for many sites you know. (Also writer of experimental games. Those are here. This isn’t about those.)

title: From Throwing Muses’ “Terra Nova,” a song that is bittersweet, because it’s about endings and hopeful, because it didn’t end after all.
